I’m writing this while I am right in the middle of pulling an all-nighter smoking a whole hog for a big summer graduation party.
Between the BBQ juices that are already flowing through my body and the fact that the Fourth of July is right around the corner, there is simply no way that we aren’t going to talk about cookouts in our content ideas this week.
So with that in mind, let’s jump right in and hit on three easy content ideas that you can put to work for your business this week.
Summer Cookout Recipes
The most obvious way to talk about the upcoming summer cookout holiday is to publish some of your favorite recipes. If you are a decent cook, then this should be easy.
If you aren’t much of a chef, you can still get away with this one by either asking friends and family for their best recipes or simply linking out to great recipes around the web.
When Are the Fireworks?
If your town is anything like mine, then everyone wants to know when the fireworks are happening, but very few people actually looked up the answer. You can bridge this short gap by doing the work for them.
Do a quick Google search for the local fireworks in your area and publish what you find on your own platforms. Then get that information in front of your audience and they will thank you for it.
Another way to attack your Fourth of July content is to poll your team for their favorite games to play at a holiday cookout. You’ll likely get some combination of cornhole, bocce, and that frisbee in a barrel game.
Take some time to break down the “official” rules for each of those games in your preferred form of content. You might even want to take some video of your team playing together.
Have a Great Holiday!
