Labor Day weekend marks the unofficial end of the summer, which is actually a great opportunity for anyone looking to come up with fresh content ideas. The changing seasons always give us the ability to shift our perspective and come up with new ways to talk about our businesses.
But before we change things up for the fall, we still have one more week of fun in the sun to enjoy those summer topics. Let’s jump right in and run through my three content ideas for this coming week.
Labor Day Cookout Grub
Labor Day tends to be the last big cookout weekend of the year, so it is also going to be one of our last chances to talk about grilling up burgers, dogs, ribs, and steaks.
You don’t have to be a Michelin-star chef or a BBQ pitmaster to talk about great food though. Just share your favorite recipes from around the web, or make it even simpler by just talking about what food your crew loves to devour at family events.
Last-Minute Summer Plans
When we get to this point in the summer, I tend to give up on ideas like hitting up the local theme parks, spending a day at the zoo, or getting out on the river. Actually, I even lose interest in sitting on the deck in the evenings at this point.
However, there are a ton of people in my world that are going to spend the next few weeks trying to cram every last bit of summer fun into their lives. Talk about those people and what they are doing this week.
Goals for the Fall Season
While I don’t spend much time on last-minute summer plans, I will spend a ton of effort thinking about my goals for the fall season and beyond.
This is dynamite content for any business, and you will get bonus points with your audience if you can shift the focus of those goals to benefit them.
Whether you run with these ideas as they are, change them up a bit to make them your own, or come up with something completely original this week, don’t lose sight of the fact that posting anything is better than posting nothing.
Have a Great Week!
