What’s Up?
We spent all weekend here in Pittsburgh worrying about the massive snowstorm that was supposed to happen, but it ended up being just a bunch of rain and maybe an inch of snow. Not all that exciting.
However, being forced to stay home all day Saturday because no one wanted to drive me around gave me plenty of time to work on rehabbing my Achilles to the point where I feel much more comfortable walking around the house.
I’m getting to the point where I am going to feel comfortable driving again, and once we get there, it won’t be long until I’m back to 100%.
As for content ideas this week, there is only one thing that people are going to be talking about!
Super Bowl Predictions
After the conclusion of tonight’s games, we are going to know who will be representing the AFC and NFC in the Super Bowl this year. And that is what everyone is going to be talking about for the next two weeks.
There is nothing wrong with piggy-backing on that idea and focusing some of your content on the big game, so start polling your staff and getting some feedback on who they are rooting for, who they think will win, and what the score is going to be.
Super Bowl Party Snacks
Another great way to spin the Super Bowl hype is to have your people contribute their best recipes for snacks, dips, and other fun party foods.
Just about everyone who interacts with your content is either going to be hosting or be invited to a Super Bowl party, so you can be the one to give them clever idea for what to make.
And if you don’t get any creative ideas from your staff, there are plenty of other blog posts along these lines that you can borrow some ideas from.
Favorite Cold Weather Meals
While we are talking about great food, this is also a perfect time of year to pull together some recipes that go well with the cold weather that is going to be coming through the northeast over the next week.
Everyone is going to be talking about how cold it is, so share your grandmother’s famous soup recipe with them and show them how to make it from scratch.
Those three ideas should be plenty to keep your content train rolling this week, and I’ll be back with three more ideas for you next week!
