What’s Up?
I hope you had a fabulous Sunday watching The Masters! I spend the bulk of the day kicking back in my new club / coworking space office with golf on the TVs and some white noise in my earbuds.
I’ve been crushing the content game ever since I switched to working from this new office setup, so I am officially open to taking on a few new clients for the first time in years.
If that is something that you might want to talk about, just let me know and we can talk about what that relationship might look like.
On the other hand, if you’re just here for the free content ideas, let’s jump right into that.
Good Friday Fish Specials
Here in Western Pennsylvania, eating fried fish on Good Friday is not so much a religious things as it is a community event. Everyone has their places that they go every year, and every restaurant features some type of fish special.
You could roll with the angle of simply highlighting the best local options for fish in your area, or you could dive in a bit deeper and ask some of your people where they are planning to eat on Friday.
Either way, this is great content for readers who aren’t sure what their plans are just yet.
Easter Sunday Traditions
Another fun way to tackle the content treadmill this week is to ask around and get some stories from your people about what their families do for Easter Sunday.
Every family has different traditions for holidays, and you might strike gold and find some great stories from your crew. If not, just talk about what you have planned for Sunday and you’ll find plenty of common ground with your readers.
NBA / NHL Playoffs
No matter where you are located across the country, there is probably a basketball or hockey team that is competing in the first round of the NBA or NHL playoffs.
All you have to turn those playoff matchups into great content is to break down who the local team is playing and what their chances look like.
Add in a couple of quotes or comments from local “experts” and you’ll have a unique take on the local team’s chances of winning it all.
Have a great week!
