What’s Up?
I did a big thing this week. After resisting for as long as possible, I finally subscribed to Hulu. And just like that, a world of binge-watching opportunities showed up in my living room.
For me, it’s all about Top Chef right now, and Hulu gives me the ability to jump all the way back to the first season and work my way through the entire catalog.
And like everything in my life, I am using this to create content ideas out of thin air. So with that in mind, let’s dive into this week’s three content ideas.
Dish of the Week
There are few things that do better than pictures of food on social media. So if you find yourself getting inspired by your favorite cooking show, make sure you are snapping pictures and posting quick descriptions of the dishes you create.
This could evolve into something as consistent as a regular “Dish of the Week” column, or you could just post about the great meals you create whenever you happen to make a good one.
Check Out Your Local Farmers’ Market
Since I was inspired by all of the Top Chef episodes I have been binging, I made a point to swing through my local farmers’ market this weekend. And that was an experience worth writing about.
Not only did I find some amazingly fresh produce, but I was also able to pick up some locally raised steaks and a dynamite potato and leek soup.
Farmers’ markets exist in small communities all over the country, so find one close to you and start highlighting some of the products you find there.
Whatever You’re Binging
If you aren’t quite into the cooking shows, all you have to do is take a more general approach to these ideas and apply them to whatever content you happen to enjoy.
Tell your audience what you are binge watching this month.
Have a Great Week!
Andy
